UnitedWeStand111
Yeah big budget cuts coming, especially w/ Obama reelected, not looking good. Guardian? Yeah, they could've made a better name, but the upgrades look decent.
Velocity173
It's not like they're changing the name of the actual helicopter. It's still an Apache. The new one is just going to be the Guardian instead of the former Longbow.Should've stuck with Indian weapons. AH-64E Apache Tomahawk.

Lindsey
Lindsey, it's a nice little present just for you before he steps down... It's funny because once upon a time I was interested in Infantry (before LASIK was accepted for WOFT).
DC8488
Should've stuck with Indian names. Hopi would be nice. I found a TOP SECRET picture of the new Hopi Helicopter. No mud hut is safe when this guy is in the air.

That doesn't look very Indian. Plus, It's going to need to be at least...three times that size to fit a human in it.
GraphiteBlur
Assessments for others, such as special operations forces, including Navy SEALS and the Army's Delta Force, may take longer. Hahaha. Way to put it mildly and "CYA". As if the military/government didn't move slow enough as it is.... can you imagine the wait time for THAT? GraphiteBlur
Should've stuck with Indian weapons. AH-64E Apache Tomahawk. I like it. Sadly too many people who don't know how to use their brain, would be like, "Wait. So we have pilots inside cruise missiles now? How does that work?"

So, went from the beginning to the end of chapter 9 in the sim the other day. Let's just say flying with no hydraulics, flight control binding, FADEC failed, and no tail rotor is not easy.

akscott60
Looks like they are talking about new airframes and not rebuilds into guardians. Holy sh*t I laugh every time I say Guardian.
GraphiteBlur
My old supervisor sent this to me. I'm not sure why I haven't heard anything else about it (then again I stay away from news media). I'm not sure why there are no American military members present in the photos. When I was in Balad, we lost a Predator to an airframe malfunction and we sent out a convoy of humvees to dispose of the debris and blow up the hellfire that was onboard. They even sent out a security team on a 60 to secure the scene. Here we lose an apparent KC-135 with no sign of the aircrew and I see no US military presence. Odd. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2319006/Military-fueling-plane-explodes-mid-air-crashes-near-American-air-base-Kyrgyzstan-en-route-Afghanistan.html
