Gareth
I am an engineer with a consulting company based in Ottawa, Canada. We are currently preparing for conducting an EER simulation of an offshore platform. One of the options for evacuation is via helicopter. In this instance the responding helo's are assumed to be the new S92's or the Super Pumas. I have the procedure from the alarm to the crew reaching the helideck tied down, but I am still trying to figure out the procedure and the time required for landing on the helideck, the time for the crew to board the helo and then taking off. Any comments would be welcomed and thanks for your time. Regards, Gareth Igloliorte
Wally
If you don't get a suitable response here, try the PPRUNE.com Rotorheads board. There's a fair few big-ship offshore types posting there.
