So maybe I missed this one? Or perhaps not being anywhere near NZ word travels slowly?

 

Just saw this, and it looks amazing. It will never prosper as a kit, if it meets FAA regs, they need to spend the money to get it certified. Then even I would invest!

 

I would opt for the RR300 engine though..

Amazing helicopter if true ... I wonder what the kit includes? No details about that on their site.

 

Yeah the price is probably in NZ dollars, but it says it includes everything including the engine?

This aircraft is constructed with full certification in mind, the company owners have already met with the FAA and New Zealand CAA.

Certification is due in about 2.5 years.

The certified version will be powered by a RR 300 engine.

I agree it looks like a sturdy and well designed ship. The bugs aren't all worked out yet though. Sounds like it was an engine problem I think he had a C-18 installed.
