superstallion6113 Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Takes some steady sticks, and a pretty good pilot if you ask me. Hope the guard rail is strong enough! Quote
RagMan Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Now, getting the patient onboard from that position might be a bit tricky 1 Quote
Flying Pig Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Im thinking he was dropping his medic to get the patient prepp'd and then heading to an LZ via ambulance. Quote
S9coldfire Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Here's another video of a precision landing (if you can call it that) at 13,700'. It happened before I started taking lessons, but I was already interested in helicopters. My wife, a friend, and I were hiking a 14'er in southwestern CO, almost at the summit when a 100lb boulder she grabbed on to suddenly came loose and broker her arm. She was lucky it wasn't worse, like her head. I have the utmost respect for the pilot and the paramedic that pulled this off! 1 Quote
