BRIEF HISTORY

I was trained in the British Army and flew both the single-engine Gazelle helicopter (by Aerospatiale) and the twin engine Lynx helicopter (by Westland).

Since leaving the army I have flown both aeroplanes and helicopters in Africa (and the Bell 412 & 212 helicopters in Qatar for Gulf Helicopters).

For the last 5 years I have managed and been Chief Pilot of a small company in Kenya. The chief aim of which was to cover the running costs of an AS 350 BA and an EC 130 B4 whilst making both available to the owner for his personal use.

The aircraft were used in the making of a number of films and documentaries, for the transport of VIP’s, for tailor-made helicopter safaris and for various other tasks such as casualty evacuation and the darting of elephant for conservation. Ihave had no accidents.(see www.loisaba.com)
