lawilm Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 I was wondering about the Apache monocle after listening for so long about how hard the use of it is for pilots. Furthermore how it causes strain and other issues for many Aviators. Is there any planned replacement for this? Such as a full visor "hud" overlay or something like that? It certainly does to seem to be a very dated technology to not have been changed. Perhaps there are more reasons? Quote

wopilot Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 First, it takes about 10 hours to 'learn' to use. It takes the rest of your life to get use to not having it. Quote
