Optamix Posted December 3, 2013 Report Share Posted December 3, 2013 I'm winding up BOLC now and got briefed today about some information on the boards. 25% of the accession boards for flight school are ear marked for civilians currently. This last board there were only 24 packets. 21 were accepted. So if you guys are close to getting your packets done, now is the time to get it in. They have started winding down slots. Last FY 1,200 slots for flight school were open, this FY that is down to 850. So now is better than later if you can help it. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Optamix Posted December 3, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 3, 2013 He didn't say anything about boards being cancelled, he didn't explicitly say it but it felt implied that they are just going to reduce the number of available slots each board in an effort to smooth out any possible bubbles.
