Hey Everybody, you must check out RotorcraftPro's latest issue.. so many great articles. Heidi, Ryan, Randy & Lyn really stepped it up this month! Keep up the good work folks !! I have to admit that Heidi's article about the VA programs is my favorite, she covered almost everything in a very well written professional manner. I think every Vet considering flight training should read this article BEFORE they commit to the program.

 

I have stood back for months thinking about how to address some of the issues in her article, and put it in a format that would be well received and not judged, with the honest goal of helping as many people considering this program/career. There is no way i could have said it better or near as well. Lyn, i think this should be posted as many places as you can, people need to know what they are really getting into. It's no secret that the few might take this awesome opportunity/program from the folks that have earned it, and the better prepared the Vets are, the better chance of success they, and the program, will have.

Thanks for the Kudos DP, I have to agree though. There are so many Military aviators looking for information on a regular basis. Heidi's article does a great job of spelling out the way forward and some of the hard to find facts. Guys coming out of active service have needed this article to take the guess work out of it.
