May 2014 WOFT Board

So, is there a site where this milper can be found? Do they post the list somewhere where we can see it?

Yes I have access. It's not released yet. The March board MILPER message released on Thursday after the board convened. However, it's my understanding (and my experience) that CIV applicants aren't on that list. They come out via email to recruiters with personnel on the board.

I think you're right... Your local battalion should know sometime Friday.

Ok, long time lurker here. Station commander called me around 2pm MST and informed me I was selected. Heading up to the hotel in Denver tomorrow and going to sign my orders at MEPS on Friday. Station commander informed me that they found out early, but supposedly the official list won't be released until tomorrow. He pushed the MEPS visit back to Friday because he has to submit a grade determination waiver for me (Prior service E-5 USMC) and he expects it to go through tomorrow. So anyone aching for some news, hopefully this helps a little. Oh and stats:

Civilian Board

AGE: 26

ASVAB: 96 AFQT, 130 GT

SIFT: 64

APFT: 280

Battalion Board: 75/75

College: B.S. Information Systems/Computer science. 3.0 GPA

Flight Time: None

LORs: Boss (retired Col.), Chinook driver buddy (CW2), old OIC (O-3), and personal friend (O-3)

Military service: USMC, active and reserve, 8 years. separated last August as an E-5

I've been in the process of applying for 2 and a half years. Road block after road block. I feel like the male verson of Lindsey haha.

Let me tell you - it's *really* weird being on this side of the fence reading these posts. 4 years of being on this forum reading about people being selected.

AGE WAIVER Question,

My packet is currently getting looked at in the May board. My 33rd Birthday is July 5th, meaning if I do not get selected during this board the packet should automatically go to the July Board. Does anyone know if this means (in between boards) I will have to submit for an age waiver. I don't want to sound negative, but do want to be realistic...if I should not get selected and do need an age waiver I would want to submit that ASAP....any help would be appreciated.

Yep, you'll have to submit one. But the acceptance rate for most boards is pretty good, so it may not matter.
