Flim
You're young, At 21, get that PT up around 280 and that will help! Also, work on finding a CW4 or 5 for an LOR.

Jon B.
So, I'm not sure what they want from me. I guess I have to already know how to fly a blackhawk and already be a commissioned officer to get in. I hate to add to your bad day, but this is just the wrong attitude. Nobody, I mean nobody, with the exception of those sitting on the board knows what exactly that board is looking at, or how your packet looked compared to everyone else's. This is my THIRD packet submission. You have got to keep at it if you really want it. It's no good to point fingers or place blame on anything other than yourself (not you specifically). The only thing you can do is submit the absolute BEST packet and represent yourself to the fullest. If you think that maybe your LOR's need a bit of a re-write, do it. Resume? The same. PT? Sweat it out. My advice is to take it as an "improve". Work on everything you can, and re-submit. Heck, if I don't get selected this time around, I'll be absolutely devastated. But it would be absolutely ridiculous of me to place blame anywhere else except on the packet I submitted. I'll work on it, and hopefully get picked up my second look in July. If not then, I'll regroup and re-submit the next chance I get.
Jon B.
Congratulations for those who already have found out the good news. I just hope my AD packet will be part of the selects!

CO2WO
Do any of you AD guys have access to the MILPER website?
eric_sthjrsy
I have access to the MILPER messages page.... anyone with a CAC can access it. Its www.hrc.army.mil, and then I just goto MILPER message search. I use Warrant Officer 153A as the key words and the most recent messages pop up. Nothing yet for AD though..... is that what you were asking for??

I was just makin sure the AD guys had access to check for themselves in case word was slow to get to them. Alternatively, you can just click most recent messages and it'll show the top ~10 new messages.

USAR153D
Are all military personnel grouped into one board regardless of status (reserve or active)?
StockTrader
I don't know for sure if my PT score was updated. Here were my stats: ASVAB: 98, GT: 137SIFT: 65Bacherlor's degree: GPA 3.4APFT: 255 I had two active duty CW4 pilots in my LOR's. So, I don't know what I have to do. All of my scores were above average except PT. And that was only 6 points under the average. So, I'm not sure what they want from me. I guess I have to already know how to fly a blackhawk and already be a commissioned officer to get in. Do you know how your board review was scored? Anything in there that may have held you back a bit?

blackhawkbro
Nothing negative as far as I know. I think my board review score was 72.
CO2WO
Blackhawk, I thought it was a year wait, but after reading the results memo it says 6months from second non-select. Keep your head up and keep making yourself look better (PT,LORs, etc...)
Jon B.
Yes, it's my third packet. I submitted two in '09. One prior to WLC as a Specialist, went to both boards and no success. Then I put in a wait period request and was approved after WLC. So, in total I got looked at four times in '09. No luck then, but hopefully I have progressed enough as a leader in the Army, etc, etc to be picked up now. Otherwise i'll just attend another military school after this deployment and finish my degree (both in the plan regardless). Then i'll request another wait period request if it's still a year. Basically, i'll keep submitting until I absolutely can't anymore due to age, or they just get tired of seeing my name.

Or the board saw both scores and focused more on how terrible your earlier score was rather than your improvement in 2 months. Good news is if you stay in shape over the next 6 months (or preferably improve your score even further) your odds of being selected are still very high. blackhawkbro
My earlier score was very terrible, however, when I took the first test, I was on the back end of what I think was the swine flu and had a sprained ankle. I didn't say anything about it in my board review because I figured the officers didn't want to hear my excuses. Why do you think it's likely that my PT score was not updated? Just curious. d10
Because your packet is otherwise competitive and that sounds like something that would happen. In either case there's nothing you can do about it now except submit again in 6 months.
