E11evenB Posted February 9, 2014 Report Share Posted February 9, 2014 I'm new and have been browing the forums and have learned a lot in preparing the packet for WOFT. My question is I am currently getting 10% Disability from the VA for Tinnitus but it does NOT affect my hearing in any way. Would I need a waiver or could I even get a waiver? I worked with several warrants who got out of the Army with Tinnitus (amoung other things). They rolled right into a DAC instructing position with multiple waivers. I forgot about the current board situation with waivers. I think Stearman said the same thing. I guess it's kind of a crap shoot on waiver approval these days. E11evenB Posted February 10, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 10, 2014 I guess it would never hurt to try and the only thing showing i have Tinnitus is my VA disability which i have to claim on the Pre-Screen for MEPs. By no means am I going to lie, I just want to make sure I get to the Flight Physical phase and I'm atleast looked at (given everything else is in line.)
