Im currently deployed (Marine Corps) but am part of a unit that actually has a flight surgeon with us. I spoke to him yesterday and he said its no problem to knock out a flight physical while deployed but neither of us is sure exactly how to go about forwarding it down to Ft. Rucker? Email? Fax? is there some medical system I dont know about? Thanks in advance for any help.

Get on the USAARL website and ask what's the best method to send it to them. I'd also ask them what particular things your FS has to do differently than a normal Navy class 1 flight physical. 20yrs ago I was stationed on a Marine air base where they do physicals everyday. Rucker sent back my physical twice because of the differences between the Navy way and the Army way.

Anyone heard anything about longer than normal processing for Flight Physicals at Rucker currently? Mine has been there since early Jan. and the status is still in-processing. I'm hopeful there is some way to expedite the process so I can make the May board.

Mine took 4 months from submission to return. I feel your pain. Seems to be hit or miss with luck over there. I tried calling Mr. Garcia but he couldn't help me cause I'm NG. Did you try calling him?

I haven't tried to call Mr. Garcia. I'm AD so maybe it's worth a shot, where can I find his contact info?

I did my physical back in May and it took around 4 months to go through. I'm civilian so I had no idea who to call, but I did end up calling Ft. Polk where I did my physical. I don't think it expedited anything but at least I felt like I did something.
