Hey all,

I am on my third to last semester of college and am trying to get everything lined up for entering flight school upon graduation. I will need PRK surgery (have 20/40). Basically what steps should I be taking? I do not want to do anything that would put a needed waiver in jeopardy. I would like to get the surgery completed this summer so I can have my 1 year healing time.

So do I just get the surgery done and make sure I have all the paper work?

Ive searched the internet for answers for hours. Please help!

Thank,

Andrew B.

I started applying three months post op, and completed flight physical five months post op. Just keep all your paperwork in color copies. And follow healing instructions to the T!
