DYllama
I'm looking to move into EMS, and I was wondering if there is a good resource for tracking down the locations of all bases within a certain state/region/what-have-you. I'd like to move back home (Indiana) after ~ 13 years away, and I just don't know where all the bases are. Location is my primary reason for moving into EMS, and I want to see what all the options are. Thanks Much!
Azhigher
May not be perfect but Alecbuck.com can get you started.
rotormandan
A random post on JH asking who's in Indiana might also ge a start. You'll have to weed through a bunch of other bs though also.
Wally
Try this site to find bases: http://www.emsflightcrew.com/world-map Some inaccuracies, but a start.
Flying Pig
In CA I tried to compile a list once to establish a map of where resources were located. I could not locate any sort of all inclusive database that you could go to. It was easier broken down by county. Either that... or nobody was willing to help me find it. Again... it pretty much needed done by calling each individual county EMS department. And thats about when I decided to find another project.
