I know this a very, very broad topic (and SUCH a large task) but lately I've been asked by Chinese investors often about this. I have a rough estimate for a 4 person helicopter's design time up to the prototype of around 5 years/$100 million for the design from a friend of mine. 1. What would it cost from the ground up to design and certify?2. What time frame are we looking at? Any advice or experience would be so helpful.
