Sfbaby Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 So I'm getting my packing list together and it's very unclear whether I need to bring a rucksack to WOCS or if I'll get issued one if don't possess one. I obviously don't have the memo from my commander saying why I don't have one and my last CIF made me turn mine in when I PCS'd here to Rucker. Do I need to buy one so that I have it as part of the packing list? If so, can I buy an Alice pack or does it have to be a MOLLE (the last CIF ruck I had was an Alice)? Thanks Quote

Yamer Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 If your current CIF list has you owning a ruck, bring it. If it's off your CIF, you aren't responsible to bring one. Like above, they'll issue you one specifically for wocs. No problem. 1 Quote

Also, you are allowed to take all of your own CIF if you wish, then just lock up the Rucker Issued stuff. Most of my classmates wish they knew that prior. I would have taken all my own if I known that. Quote
