Adaam Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Ok so I was researching the height requirements for WOFT and it seemed like everyother site had a different answer (i.e. 76in or less, 40.4in sitting). I, myself, am rather tall at 75in right now at the age of 17 and am likely to grow more. This made me a pretty nervous since becoming an Army Helicopter pilot has been a dream of mine since I was 10. This brings me to my questions, What are the actual height requirements and if I am to tall could I possibly receive a wavier? Thanks for your time. Quote
walkerman180 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I'm 6' 7" and I passed a flight phys seated height requirement by like 2 centimeters. I'm sure you'll be fine unless all your height's in your torso. Can't remember the number though. Quote
Creep0321 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Crotch height > or = 75 cm (standing, floor to perineum)Total arm reach > or = 164 cm (finger tip to finger tip)Sitting height < or = 102 cm (from sitting surface to top of head) Quote
akscott60 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I am tall. No one cares about it. Just dont select tiny aircraft like I did the first time. Haha. 1 Quote

Adaam- See my post that I updated a day or two ago. Unless you grow another 5 inches, you'll be good to go. I'm 6'8" and just had a waiver approved for seating height. Unfortunately, I am unable to fly -64s or -58s, but can still fly -47s and -60s. Quote
