r22butters Posted August 20, 2015 Report Share Posted August 20, 2015 I picked up the new TAC today and in the MISCELLANEOUS section of the Legend I spotted a new symbol,...a rocket ship. "Space Launch Activity Area", I've been told to "maintain visual seperation" from heavy jets, but a rocket ship,...that would be awesome! Sadly I could not find that little rocket ship symbol anywhere on the actual chart. Perhaps our chart guy called in sick and the Florida guy filled in to finish the Legend? RagMan Posted August 20, 2015 Report Share Posted August 20, 2015 (edited) I would venture to guess that with the up and coming commercial space ports popping up around the country, it was time to add on to the legend seeing as how the federal government isn't the only entity in the U.S. to now be able to provide space launch operations.
