dondlhmn Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I makes me chuckle when I hear about this carrot out there on the end of the stick....... Back in the day when I went to flight school we were told that the #1 grad would get his/her choice of advanced/follow-on airframe. Well....guess who was the number one grad in my class? Yep..... and what they told me was "Needs of the Army!" and off I went to Germany to fly in the same ole utility helicopter. I did, later in my career get UH-60s and then Fixed wing..flew C-12s and U-21s (now the U-21s are all retired and in museums IRRC) Quote
