MuffinMan Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I would recommend making this a much more professional sounding request. You are the one interested in getting an LOR. And you've gotta convince these guys that your worth their time in interviewing you and writing one. Just my .02 Quote

Just my .02Well, I would prefer talking to the aviator one on one, as I don't like to give my life story or personal info on a forum where everyone can see it. Quote

I understand completely. There's just more professional was of asking somebody to meet with you than your initial post came across. Hopefully you'll find somebody who will help you out with the LOR. Give them a reason(ie. Packet stats, leadership experience, or some reason why you would strengthen the warrant community) Quote

Good call. Don't write a novel like I did. Your best bet is to Google military installations near you; network all you can in person. I attended a Civil Air Patrol meeting and as boring as it was, met a guy who did his 20 flying Warthogs and he ended up conducting my interview in his truck at our local airport, lol. Far better results. Don't bank on the forum for letters, use it for information and to set the bar for yourself. It doesn't hurt to put it out there though if you're checking off all avenues. Based on my experiences so far. Good luck with your packet. Quote
JPdotA Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 For those who was interviewed by a CW3-5, what were the common questions asked? Im making a trip to Camp Humphreys and hopefully acquire an LOR from unicorn. Quote
