Luofynerd Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 So just trying to clarify for active duty personnel, the deadline is the date that you're guaranteed to make the next board from what I've been told. Has anyone submitted maybe a few days after the deadline and still boarded on their intended date? I.E. Your deadline is on March 18th you submit March 21-30th well before the corrections update deadline. Should you expect to go to May board or the July board a few months later? I ask because I keep getting stonewalled if you will, one day I have an eye exam then I'm told I have to cancel the appointment for a test then they're booked 3 weeks out in a matter of hours. I'm literally waiting on my physical/prk waiver. Quote
dovq2011 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 When I boarded in May 2015, the first day of the board was 11MAY. My packet went up to USAREC 07MAY. If that gives you a good indicator of the submission deadline's flexibility. It's not advised to intentionally wait that long. Quote

Luofynerd Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Yeah, active. My bad. That's good to know thanks man. I actually emailed the recruiting team and they said it all depends on what corrections need to be done but that it is possible. So I guess hearing it from the horses mouth is as good as it's gonna get. I guess I'll continue to pursue my flight physical while I'm here then instead of waiting until I get home. Quote
