I'm worried my not having great high school grades or any college will hold me back but I hope not. All I want to do is fly and I love the military just picked the wrong branch. I know several people at Rucker (including myself) who've had waivers for underage consumption or worse. I haven't heard of any stories where that one single item was a deal breaker. Not saying it's not possible, but I haven't heard of it, and again, a lot of people have had Minor in Consumption citations. I knew enough pilots though that I had two or three extra to choose my strongest ones from. Just food for thought, if it's even an option for you. Army jobs and training are amazing at granting you a lot of college credits that do not count toward anything other than electives. For instance, I have 84 credit hours and just received my associate's degree. It took an additional 30 credit hours in addition to my military training in order for me to meet degree specific requirements... this is pretty much the norm in the Army - especially for enlisted folks.
