Commander's Interview

My recruiters are making do an interview with their Commander tonight and I have never heard of that before, anyone else had this done? Also, they said the hand-written version of the essay is no longer required, is that also true? I'd hate to submit a packet and have it rejected due to everything not being in it due to recruiters error.

I had to meet with my recruiter's company commander, never met the Battalion commander. It was a 5 minute meeting with nothing really productive said. Because I was the only WOFT applicant and only the second one last year, the entire chain of command was interested in my packet. (I think they have a quota of WOFT/OCS guys they have to meet each year).

 

I submitted my packet in December, and I had to hand write my essay. I types it first then just copied it all down on a blank sheet of paper. Make sure BOTH are only 1 page. (write small!!!)
