ENVELOPE IS FROM - 40 TO +50 .But in the helicopters TYPE CERTIFICATE DATA SHEET due to some modification the operating temp. is different .My question is , Which one should be considered for the flight , FLIGHT MANUAL or Helicopter's TYPE CERTIFICATE DATA SHEET ?Many tnx. StockTrader Posted May 19, 2017 Report Share Posted May 19, 2017 From the quick reading I did, it appears that the operating temperatures become restricted by different oil/fuel types being used(mineral vs synthetic). Personally, if there is a limitation in place, whether from the FAA or operators manual, I would err on the side of caution and stay within the more restrictive limitations.
