Eric Hunt
If anybody on this forum has experienced one, and is still capable of having a thought or opinion, I would be very surprised!
pherchris11
Sorry, I'll try and be more specific, Has anyone ever found cracks on their 47 blade grips under 1200 hours? Thanx, Chris. P.S. - Does anyone know if new blade grips are being eddy-current inspected prior to being sent to distributors?
D_F
I haven't heard of any with cracks under 1200 hrs. The one we sent in when we were getting set up with a shop to do our 300 hr inspections had cracks. I can't recall the exact hours on it but I believe it was an old one that had timed out previouse to the AD. (ie over 5000 hrs) The new grips have a totally different thread. No problems thus far with the set we have. Not sure if they get inspected prior to shipping new. Fly Safe
