rlfoster83
Has anybody that recently put in a flight warrant packet had their command do an OPAT physical fitness test? Is this required for the packet?
novAL99
I was selected on the July board. Just did the OPAT today for the first time.
Sabell44
You do it as part of the Army PT requirement. Similar to novAL99 I'm doing mine after selection. It has to be done between 90 days and 30 days before you ship.
Shadowlurker
If youre already enlisted/co, it is different than street to seat. You have to do the OPAT if you are in a lower physical requirement MOS. Retention and recruiting at your current post will be able to set up a time for you to complete it at one of the physical fitness centers. You should have it done before the packet is turned in(although on the last Milper, they had an asterisk requesting it from people who had not already done so).
Simpsj17
If you are in a sister service you dont do it till after you are accepted.
Steve L
I'm currently on AD and I took the OPAT for my WO packet. According to the checklist on the USAREC website the DA61, block 41 must state that you have completed and passed the OPAT (company commander signs to verify). The current checklist does not have the actual OPAT scorecard listed as something to include in the packet.
