IgorS
I was standing in the right place at the right time over the weekend, and got a chance to fly the 333. How many newbie PPL students get to plop a few hours of (free) XC turbine time into their logbooks? I know I'm a lucky guy. It felt exactly like the 300C that I normally train in, at least in the basic manuevers that I flew. Very stable and easy to fly. I've learned that the cockpit mgw is 600 lbs. I think for my half million, I should be able to get 4 adults into the air.
flingwing206
You dog! Nice... Are you sure on the cabin weight thing? Useful load is 1300 lbs, and the 300 series has a 600-lb cabin weight limitation. However, I've not seen a 333 POH, so pardon the question! And of course a max gross of 2550 lbs.
IgorS
My instructor actually turned down a charter because a very heavy passenger was involved, putting the cockpit weight over 600. I am sure now he was confusing the 333 with the 300C. We later got out the 333 manual and determined the correct W&B info for the ship. It was just so long ago that I posted this, that I never came back to correct it.
