Sling Load Operations History

Hello,

I am currently out of the Army were I was part of an air assault team conducting sling loads.  Now I'm in my first year of helicopter private pilot.  Currently I am writing a paper on the history of helicopter sling loads.  There isn't too much I can find.  Maybe someone could point me in the right direction where I could find some articles or anything.  I appreciate any feedback.
