You can arrive as early as you want to Rucker and just not sign into WOCS. You must sign in 10 days prior to the start date but you can take as much leave as you have accrued while PCSing. Make sure you get your current BN/O5 commander to sign your leave form with PTDY to get your extra ten days of non-chargeable leave without any hassle.

I am taking 40 days 30 PCS 10 PTDY - depending on losing station PTDY may be company I've had it both ways. I have a HHC report 21? days prior to class start. My orders specified losing station needs to do the PTDY and I'm just having it run up to the report date.

Just make sure that the Housing office at Rucker signs on your PTDY DA31 when you get there.

What class are you going for?

The RFO states you can arrive up to 24 days early (12 days on either end of the travel). If you're vaccinated (jokes on you; you are) then you arrive on the day of. The first few days are inprocessing and indoc.

If you are PCS (RWA so...you are) I would recommend getting there a bit early to verify your packing list, and asking the cadre @ 1st WOCS if theres any extra sh*t you should have or be prepared for.
