Weads
In relation to a RESTART FAULT the RFM states that after you roll the throttle to idle (after landing) the PMA will go off line and you might have a flame out. My question is why would this happen? Under 85% nP the DC bus would supply the ECU with power and keep the engine running correct? RFM excerpt: When throttle is repositioned to idle stop (during engine shutdown) the PMA will go offline and engine may flameout. Thanks in advance for any insight from folks far more knowledgeable than myself.
Don Standridge
The issue is going to relate to the FADEC circuit breaker. The Restart Fault light will illuminate after 30 seconds if for some reason the breaker pops, is faulty, or there is a wiring issue. The Fault light is indicating the ECU is not receiving power from the bus. When you roll the throttle to idle and lose the PMA the hot start solenoid loses power and shuts it down. I cant take credit for this, had to call David Fox for the answer.
