eagle5
The world doesn't need another little 2 seat helicopter. If you insist on competing with the R22 your design doesn't need to be better than the R22, it needs to be cheaper!
AK1-3
The world doesn't need another little 2 seat helicopter. If you insist on competing with the R22 your design doesn't need to be better than the R22, it needs to be cheaper! The world is able to decide by itself, angry Mr. eagle5. Please, don`t insist on any competitions, it`s not our business. :-) R22 is old and famous. Schweizer is perfect, old and famous. And every company has enough empty market space around the globe. The price for the new AK1-3 is $175K, used ones starts from 100K, btw.

eagle5
Let me know when the next 2 seat wonder is available for rent at less than $250/hr in Northern California! By the way, not angry, just don't think 2 seat is where the money is, since the 22 is dug in so deep. AK1-3
last I knew 175000 is still < 279000... you been taking common core math classes ? hahaha We are quite reasonable people and never thought to compete.R-22 is in production more than 30 years and is certified by FAA.AK1-3 is much younger and certified in Ukraine and some countries only. The quality and performance are good, but price is lower. It should be so! Just look, they looks nice all together.
AK1-3
don't think 2 seat is where the money is, since the 22 is dug in so deep.Absolutelly agree with you. And hugh amount of efforts during last years in design, tests, production processes, customer relations processes, work on mistakes at any and new ideas for 2 seater is the only way to build something bigger and more profitable.
