Flight School Safety Record

Recommended Posts

One of their students was involved in a accident near southeast of Wandering River, Alberta in a Hughes/Schweizer 300C this last summer. It was supposed to be due to a mechanical failure, which is their claimed reason for getting rid of all their piston fleet and going turbine only training.... ...To help maintain a spotless safety record.

So you are planning on spending ~$100K for their training course? ...And the presumed guaranteed job?

The forums in http://www.verticalmag.com/ would be a better place to ask your question. It is a major gathering place for Canadian helicopter types...

The accident was do to a mechanical failure, and the pilot had three years experience in the field.
