helicopter flight schools

Recommended Posts

I've flown into Hendersonville, and dealt with their FBO before, but never actually had any dealings with them http://www.dondavisaviation.com/ concerning their helicopter training. Unfortunately, I have no further info...

Also, I have flown into Georgetown, KY - Scott Co. airport for fuel, off loading, and onloading. Near to Lexington. The last time was the week before last. There are a couple of helicopter operators there, and at one, a training outfit, called PDQ Air, LLC. They have at least one R-22 and a R-44. Never met them either, but not much helicopter training occurs between midnight and 6AM :P

The line staff and others said they were a "good operation", but that is all I know about them. They are a 135 operator. I got their card in my collection - http://www.pdqair.net.

Their website makes no mention of their helicopter ops. But as I understand it, they are a 135 op with the R-44 and some fixed wing assets. The CFI there is named Brent Frazey, and his phone is (321)961-0122. The owner's phone is (859)494-9460. His name is Bill Ford...

Standard liability clause -

I am not recommending any of them, just aware of them from the places I stopover while flying... Good luck.
