I'm suppose to fly into Tucson sometime this month and then next month over to Casa Grande(CGE)for the Copper State fly-in... Copper State had a few helicopters last year, most were experimental heli's, plus a couple R22-44's, S300, UH60, 500, 412, AS350 and a 206... Huge number of classic war-birds and some nice finds at the swap meet... The majority of aircraft are fixed wing and they even setup a parallel dirt strip for the tail wheel pilots... This is the only weekend Casa Grande(CGE)sets up and mans the portable tower with volunteer controllers from Phx Tower...
