2 killed in helicopter crash near Kingman

KINGMAN - Two people were killed in a helicopter crash north of Kingman on Monday.

 

Mohave County Sheriff Tom Sheahan said the helicopter apparently went down after striking utility lines just off U.S. 93, about 32 miles north of Kingman.

 

It appears that both people aboard the helicopter were killed, Sheahan said.

I think this might have been the helicopter that was based here at Chandler.  A husband and his wife died after hitting powerlines in an R22.  Right before xmas too.  No one else do that okay?
