Does anyone have any numbers to share on these from experience? I have a customer that wants to do one with me and am trying to workup the operating costs etc..., and work from there. Any help is greatly appreciated. PM me if you like.

Also... How realistic is the cost breakdown at the Schweizer website? What are the insurance costs and best underwriters?

Thanks in advance... :)

They are going to want the numbers before they decide. And I want to learn about it too. Otherwise there will be no purchase. Answers first... ;) That's the reason I posted as I did... If it looks good after that, then we can maybe talk. They do want to purchase in May. New or used is undecided until I can come up with crunched numbers for various scenarios... :)

i dont think there is a "magic number", Schweizer's estimates are for a "perfect world scenerio". I have seen ships that fly & fly & fly------totally abused & neglected, their operating cost is the price of fuel ! I have also seen fairly well maintened ships that when i do an annual ?! YIKES !! Its really quite easy to figure out what one of these machines "should" cost to run. ADD "a few" dollars to Schweizer's cost. I remember years back we tried to figure out the "proportion"--- we figured for their $60, it actually cost us just over $100

I have been and aircraft owner & am aware that it is not a perfect world... Just looking for some people that have 'real-world' experiences so my client and I can feel informed. I know that the Schweizer page is probably going to reflect a best case scenario, but '...how far off base can it be?'. I want to draw up an agreement that will have the best possibility of keeping everybody happy all or at least most of the time.

Thanks...

Got your PM Fling, Thx...
