Thanks! I was reading my monthly email from military.com and they had a link. It went to hiller.org, then that website had a link to the flyer. I was in a hurry at lunch, SORRY........ I wish I could go..........

I had the chance to fly in with The Showcopters and fly out solo on Sunday in the R22.

40+ helos leaving at the same time at the end of Sunday's show is quite a sight, and a fixed-winger's nightmare!

If you go, be sure to catch the R44 vs Bi-plane race. Cheating is allowed...

Yep, in fact that robby looks like it just took off. It's just the way that it looks when the picture is taken it looks like it's about to crash

Hey HUEY, I remember that show-

I quick reminder that the Vertical Chalange Last Year got Robinson Helicopter Company to Sponsor it's airshow. Unfortunatly only a few of us showed up.

I hope This year the show has a better turnout.

I love how someone thought that Jim was bouncing off the ground, he usually does that on purpose!

If your confirmed on your flight, PM me you cel, and we can meet up there. My buddy and I are driving up, staying at the Marriott, and coming back the day of the show. I checked flights, but's $178 RT on Southwest.

Robinson finally acknowledged the Showcopters or just Vertical Challenge? Are you performing this year? Are you doing something for the Watsonville show?

I saw the show last year driving up 101 with mi amore. We should have stopped! I kept saying hey I know those guys! She was like yeah, yeah, whatever...

In those first pictures the small one has Tore and Allen by the main skyeye R44. I realized they went down in that ship just 6 days later. May they rest in peace.

 

Rookie101, those are smoke trails from the helos. Oily stuff! I put more pix that show them better. Have fun at the show!
