I also saw notice of a new school opening up near Clarksville but on the Kentucky side - not sure what the name was. You might consider schools in St Louis if you live close to Memphis - there are several. Let me know where you live and I might be able to provide more info. What I am trying to say is find a school that you like, not a school that is "convenient". There are many people that come from all over the world to train at different schools in the US. Tiger Mike Posted June 9, 2006 Author Report Share Posted June 9, 2006 I've been driving to Dallas to get my training. It's good training but drivng there and only being able to spend a week at a time is getting old. What I will really need is a place close to the memphis area where I can rent helicopter to build up my time once I get my licence. But I don't think thats possible right now.
