rotorteam
Okay, with a couple of scenarios already run on here regarding age and getting into the field, let's try this one: Age 53, Commercial Rotorcraft license current, 2nd Class Medical, health excellent - never had a problem, however - under 200 hours thus far. Out of the pool of hours, have over 100 R22 hours along with 25 turbine. (206B3 + 369) So too old to go forward, or no problem - What do you think? I know that's a bit subjective, but if health remains good, want to make sure could work in the industry until past 60 if desired. (whether that be in GOM, tours, or whatever) And if went the CFI route for hour building (which is probably inevitable), do you think flight schools would be reluctant? (No problem with height (5'11") or weight (170lb with gear). Appreciate your thoughts - Ed
