They are in Lansing IL, about 30 miles south of the city, right by the Indiana border. Great instructors and owner, and FAA examiner. Quote

There used to be a BIG school on the northside called ProCopter that folded about 5 years ago.....I don't know how far a drive it is to Milwaukee, but you've got WW Helicopter up there. Quote

About a month ago I was in St. Charles / West Chicago area for the national DeLorean show and I was go take an hour of dual in the 500 to cruise the city. I spent too much time (and money) at the show and never made it over there. However the wife and I did make it to Schaumberg's IKEA and bought way more stuff than I could comfortably fit back into my DMC. Oh, made it to FLW's home & studio, Cantigny, and the National Accelerator as well--all very cool. You guys have a great city that extends well beyond the tourist area between the lake & Michigan Ave. Quote

A search on the web did not return much. thanks a lot LOG sun aero is the best bet but in the west sub, there is A & M aviation with a brand new r22. they are also one of the biggest fixed wing schools in the chicago area.
