Gummy Posted November 11, 2002 Posted November 11, 2002 I am interested in the BO-105, and need any information on it anybody would care to give. Problems, benifits, costs, personal opinion, anything you care to throw in would be appreciated. Quote
Flying Bull Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 Bo 105 - which model? The short one, the CBS?Old but reliable helicopter. We´re still operating four.I´ve read about some cracks in the fuselage from time to time, which have to be fixed - but are no concern to flight safety.Uses about 180 to 200 kg Fuel/hr - 2 1/2 hrs with the main tank.Nice to fly, very responsive to the controls, can be flown trimmed without stick, just with collective and pedals ;-)Very save and forgiving, if you don´t push it hard over the limits.Skid´s can take a lot of punishment (touchdown with 30 kts i.e.)Any further questions? ask.
