XvX
What exactly is goat tagging, anyway? RFID tags, or just plastic ones?
vertrefadmin
What exactly is goat tagging, anyway? RFID tags, or just plastic ones? I guess I've been calling it the wrong thing. It is actually mountain goat darting. The procedure is this:1. get in the helicopter with a Fish and Game Person with a dart rifle2. find mountain goat3. take right door off4. chase mountain goat5. shoot mountain goat6. keep mountain goat from falling off the cliff with the helicopter7. mountain goat falls asleep8. land and attach various devices to the mountain goat including a gps collar, ear tag... leaving the mountain goat with a funny "abduction" like feeling. 67november
can't pass it up, shouldn't ya take the door off first
vertrefadmin
can't pass it up, shouldn't ya take the door off first Maybe if you're in Arizona but in Alaska it gets a little cold up in the mountains without the door on We usually drop it off at the fuel cache but if I can keep it on that's better for me. It'll be cold enough soon.
