brushfire21 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 My prayers go to the family, friends and co-workers of the crew. From what i gathered, the A/C was working a fire on the forest when it went down yesterday. Here is a link to the story I saw:http://fe.pennnet.com/news/display_news_st...p;NewsID=137792 Additional Information from http://www.nifc.gov/fireinfo/nfn.html"On August 13 th an Evergreen Helicopters, Inc, helicopter on contract to the USDA Forest Service crashed while assigned to fire suppression duties on the Payette National Forest near McCall, Idaho. The pilot and three Forest Service employees on board were fatally injured. The firefighting community extends condolences to family and friends of the deceased." Quote
