My first question is about the size of the school. I know this is different for everyone and I think a larger, more reputable school is more appropriate for me. I have visited Mazzei and liked everything about it except for its location (I wouldn't be comfortable in Fresno). This leads to my next question. Where should I look for schools? I hope to fly in mountainous terrain so should I train there? I know mountains can be more difficult to fly in and around so is that a good training environment for a begginer? Should I train at a tower controlled or non-controlled airport? Should I be looking for schools that train in R22's or 300's? I would appreciate answers to these questions and suggestions on schools.
