Gettingaround
Hi, Looking for some comments. I did 60 Hours in bell47 & R22 5 years ago in OZ.I haven't flown since & I want to get back into it.I'd like to do 10 hours over a couple of weeks and then try to staycurrent with a couple of hours every month. Anyone been in a simliar situation? realistically how long do you think itwould take to be back in the saddle and feel competent again? I would like to be at a level where I can enjoy flying in a privateenvironment as well as taking a few friends along. I have a PPL Oz with Commercial Theory. I now live on Montreal in Canada I'm looking into redoing the PPLexams as a review then sit the Commercial exam in Canada.

Thanks I had stopped flying for 16 years, when I started back again, I figured it would be no sweat..basically I started over, taking about 12 hours to re-solo again...I think after 5 years you could pick it back up in 10 hours or less.. Fly safe, Goldy
