ironranger
I live in northern Minnesota in a small town of 15,000 people. The biggest town about 50,000 is about 60 miles away. I have been training to fly r22's and am about 10 hrs. I haven't flown for about 2 weeks because are CFI left just like that, so we are getting another one. This will be my fourth new instructor. We can't seem to keep them around. My question is I get nervous every time I fly with a new one because I don't know how good they are, and what if they don't have alot of experience, I have no other choice because we don't have any other place to train where we live unless you drive to Minneapolis which is about 4 hrs away. My husband is soloing so he does not really have to fly that much with a new instructor. I am probably going to start auto's and someone said that is where the most danger is . I really enjoy flying and would like to keep going but with all these new instructors coming and going and feel like giving it up. But my husband is going to by a helicopter and I would like to know how to fly it.

Guest pokey
We live and train in Hibbing. It is nice to post with somebody else from Minnesota. My dad grew up on a farm in Hibbing/Chisolm area, my uncle owned it for years & i used to go back there during the summer. My cousin owns it now, & my one sister keeps telling me to call him & see if he will sell me part of it. I loved that iron range country, used to watch the trains working in the mines. Tooo cold for my old blood in the winters now tho i think. What kind of helicopter is your hubby gonna buy ya?
