copterman
Hi guys, I have been very interested in purchasing a brand new helicopter or plane but decided to finally go with a helicopter as they are just so sexy and slick. The reason i ask the question, if there are helicopters under a million dollars is because i don't know if you guys know this, but there is a company thas has had a lot of praise recently, there called eclipse aviation and they have built what they term as VLJ a very light jet it is cable of flying at 425MPH and a range of 1400 miles. Able to carry 2 pilots + 4 passengers and a toilet. Now these were being sold at just 1 million dollars and became so popular that them increased to 1.5 million dollars and have so far taken 3400 orders making them a mult billion dollar company in less than 18 months since they started selling them. Now the reason i mention this aircraft in a helicopter forum is that it was just to show you that it really is possible to make a jet that can be sold for that price, so i ask has it been done in the helicopter industry? help much appreciated Many thanks

No drawings though, but I've talked to enough people at RHC who should know that I believe it..
