TaIk2Kevin
Me- Right now I am a PFC In the Army just about to Finish AIT (Advanced Individual Training) I currently Have 2.5 Yrs college (embry Riddle) and My Private Helicopter's Certificate. (74 Hrs. in a 300) I was curious to see if there were any Army pilots out there that might be able to share their experiences as an army pilot and maybe what a typical (or not so typical) day is Like. I joined the army to see if I would like it. So Far I love it but Im trying to figure out if I want to fly as a Civilian or in the Army This site has tons of articals on civilian flying but couldnt find any on the army. I only have time to get on the interent once a week (they keep me busy) so I wont be able apply for a while. Any Replies would be appriciated thanks! Linc
Here is a forum about Army Aviation. To me, the only motivation that mattered was my desire to fly. The problem with asking about how the day goes is that it goes differently for an aviator depending on what aircraft he/she flies and what additional duties they're given. How the day progresses is up to a bunch of variables that most pilots have little control over, but you can picture that it will progress a bit similar to how your day goes now, only you'd get paid more, you would generally have less supervision to accomplish the duties you're given and you'd get to fly.
