jimbo2181
Hey guys... I was wondering if anyone knew of any helicopter related charities or anything where I could make a donation. I am thinking for a public use EMS helicopter or a fund for pilots or crew that have died in accidents or a fund to help with safety. If anyone has any ideas please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks.
67november
Hey Jimbo, I'd say talk to the county office about your donation and see if they're willing to help sponser a fund raiser to help out your area along with your donation, to provide pay for pilots, a lease for an EMS ship, etc.... hope that helps

I am looking to donate towards something helicopter related for my family. Any ideas? I have seen many of these so called nonprofits in aviation related mags and things, but they all have turned out to be scams. It's a shame there is not a foundation for families of injured or killed helicopter pilots that is credible. I'll call a friend of mine. He used to have a foundation for something. I'll find out and let you know.
james28
you could always donate to verticle reference forums. http://beehive.thisiscornwall.co.uk/defaul...mp;PageID=15478might check that website, not sure what there deal is but they are a charity. you might also look for groups that provide aviation scholoarships to pilots in traning and such, they're always looking for donations. as far as families go i have no idea. good luck.
