wild_blue
I am thinking about becoming a helicopter pilot and I was wondering about how you go about finding a good school and paying for the training? I am hopeful about getting in the army warrent officer training program but I'm not sure I'd make it in because of my vision(I'm near-sighted),so if any one has any good advice, please feel free! Tiger Mike
You may have already done this but you should go anywhere that has a school and take a ride just to see if you like it. Once you find a school, take a single lesson to see if you still like it. But remember that the first lesson (or in my case every lesson) is very humbeling. kmtpilot
wild blue, The Army no longer has a restriction for wearing glasses to be a pilot. Put in a application and you will probably get picked up. They are picking up guys left and right. Go for it.
